§ Mr. Ifor DaviesMy right hon. Friend has made a grant of £313,754 to the Breconshire County Council towards the estimated cost of the scheme. So far as the date of starting is concerned, this is a matter for the Breconshire County Council, but I understand that it plans to start work this month. The work will take about two years.

§ Mr. DaviesThe County Council has been informed. This is the largest grant-aided scheme ever to be given to Brecon-shire and it should assist the economic wellbeing of the area.
