HC Deb 07 December 1966 vol 737 cc1495-528

Lords Amendments considered.

10.0 p.m.

Mr. Speaker

Before the Clerk reads the first Amendment I should like to draw hon. Members' attention to the form of the present Paper, which is prepared under my directions. In order to clarify the Paper and to facilitate our debate, I have arranged for the Lords Amendments to the Title to be printed at the end, being the place at which they are considered by the House, instead of at the beginning of the Paper as hitherto.

I hope that this change in printing the Lords Amendments will prove acceptable to the House, since it saves the House the inconvenient formality of first moving to postpone the Lords Amendments to the Title.
