§ 51. Mr. Jannerasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what advice he has given to local authorities concerning the prohibition of the use of parking bays by particular classes of vehicles in the framing of parking places Orders under the Road Traffic Act, 1956.
§ Mr. NugentWe have told the local authorities, which have powers to promote parking schemes and which we know to be considering them, that it is desirable to make reasonable provision for commercial vehicles as well as for other classes of motor traffic.
