asked the Minister of Labour if, in view of his intention to review the safety regulations of the building industry, he will invite the representatives of the National Federation of Building Trades Operatives to consult with him on the matter.

Mr. Carr

There is no present intention to undertake any general revision of these regulations, which were made in 1948, but revision of certain points is under consideration. My officers have already had discussions with the National Federation of Building Trades Operatives, and there will be further consultations if necessary.
