asked the Minister of Health when he intends to issue new regulations on food hygiene.

As soon as possible after the Bill consolidating food and drugs legislation now before Parliament becomes law.

Can my right hon. Friend say when this is likely to be? Is he aware that Wembley Clean Food Association was a pioneer in this matter, and that it naturally is anxious to see progress?

I note the puff for Wembley, which has not much to do with the Question on the Order Paper, but this is not, of course, a matter which is entirely in my hands, although I would hope that the consolidation Measure may become law during November.
