HC Deb 21 May 1953 vol 515 cc2252-3

The following Question stood upon the Order Paper:

45. Mr. A. HENDERSON

TO ask the Prime Minister whether he will make a statement on the progress of the Four-Power Conference on Air Safety.

The Prime Minister (Sir Winston Churchill)

May I, with your permission, Mr. Speaker, say that I am much obliged to the right hon. and learned Gentleman the Member for Rowley Regis and Tip-ton (Mr. A. Henderson) for withdrawing Question No. 45, which, I think, can be better answered after the Recess.

Mr. H. Morrison

I am glad that the Prime Minister has been nice to my right hon. and learned Friend; it is quite a change.

The Prime Minister

If ever punishment is overdone, amends should be made.
