asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation what bad weather landing aids are at present available at Turn-house.

Mr. Beswick

The bad weather aids in operation are Standard Beam Approach, with an additional outer marker on the back beam, and VHF/DF.

Does the hon. Gentleman consider that there are adequate bad weather landing aids at the aerodromes?

Mr. Beswick

They are adequate, although we propose to improve upon them.
