HC Deb 05 December 1950 vol 482 c190
36. Sir G. Jeffreys

asked the Secretary of State for War why his Department is now proposing to build military houses on the north-eastern portion of Bramshott Common; and whether, in view of the fact that in the past this area has always been kept free of buildings and available for public recreation, he has ascertained the views of the local authorities as regards such building.

Mr. Strachey

The War Department is not proposing to build houses on Bramshott Common.
