§ 80. Colonel Clarkeasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if a miner's concessional coal is withdrawn when he is temporarily out of work owing to a physical disability.
§ Mr. GaitskellThe conditions under which concessional coal is supplied to miners are governed by existing collective agreements between the National Coal Board and the National Union of Mine-workers of which I have no precise information. I understand, however, that, generally speaking, these agreements do not provide for withdrawal of coal allowance for short periods of temporary physical disability.
