HC Deb 09 July 1946 vol 425 c230
51. Mr. Randall

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether it has been brought to his notice that certain agents of continental hotels are overcoming the currency restrictions which forbid anyone taking more than £75 on a holiday abroad; and what action he proposes to take to stop this.

Mr. Dalton

I should be much obliged if my lion. Friend would let me have any evidence in his possession with a view to the possibility of prosecutions.
