§ Mr. IsaacsNo centres for building trade training have so far been opened in North Wales but I am making every effort to obtain suitable premises for such a centre.
§ 42. Mr. Emrys Robertsasked the Minister of Labour the seasons for the decline of the persons engaged in the building industry in Wales, from 33,748 in July, 1939, to 11,740 in July, 1945.
§ Mr. IsaacsThe main reasons are call up to the Forces and transference of workers to vital war work in other industries and areas.
§ Mr. RobertsIs the Minister satisfied with the measures to bring these men back and to increase the number of people in the building trade, and will that number he sufficient to enable the Government to carry out the house building programme?
