§ 59. Mr. Thornton-Kemsleyasked the Minister of Agriculture if he is aware that farmers who are employing Italian prisoners of war have to fill in new forms of application for labour when these men are replaced by German prisoners of war, although the only difference in the circumstances is the nationality of the men employed; and whether he will issue instructions that fresh forms are not necessary, having regard to the waste of time and paper involved.
§ Mr. T. WilliamsThe security conditions applicable where German prisoners are working on farms differ from those for Italians, and the completion of a fresh form of application by the farmer when replacement occurs is a necessary measure.
