asked the Secretary of State for Air if he can make a statement on the proposed posting of members of the W.A.A.F. from Egypt to Iraq.

No members of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force are to be compulsorily transferred from Egypt to Iraq and steps have been taken to correct any misunderstanding which may have arisen on this point.
