HC Deb 21 March 1945 vol 409 c796
34. Mrs. Tate

asked the Secretary of State for Air whether sisters in the P.M.R.A.F. Nursing Service, serving with mobile field hospitals in S.E.A.C., receive the Japanese campaign pay or the war increment pay as do members of the W.A.A.F., A.T.S. and W.R.N.S. working in offices in towns in India and Ceylon.

Sir A. Sinclair

Members of Princess Mary's Royal Air Force Nursing Service are eligible to receive Japanese campaign pay. They are not eligible to receive war service increments because their rates of pay were recently increased to bring them up to the standard recommended for civilian nurses by the Rushcliffe Committee.
