HC Deb 21 March 1945 vol 409 c796
32. Mr. Purbrick

asked the Secretary of State for Air why is transport to Paris given to a football team when it is not available for business men who want to develop the trade of this country.

Sir A. Sinclair

My hon. Friend is under a misapprehension. Transport to Paris is available for business men whose applications are sponsored by the appropriate Government Department. Those with very urgent business are carried by air if possible. For others the daily boat service is available.
