HC Deb 15 November 1944 vol 404 c1970
69. Sir I. Albery

asked the Postmaster-General if it is intended, in the near future, to restart an air mail with direct communication between this country and Switzerland.

Captain Crookshank

This service will be resumed as soon as a direct air service to Switzerland with sufficient capacity for the conveyance of the mails becomes available. I understand that my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Air has this matter under consideration.
