HC Deb 08 November 1944 vol 404 c1337
5. Major Mott-Radclyffe

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs how many members of the fighting services invalided from wounds or other disabilities during this war are now employed, temporarily or otherwise, in the Foreign Service.

Mr. Eden

Without counting regular members of the Foreign Service who have been or are in process of being invalided, 14 men invalided from the fighting Services have been recruited in this country on a temporary basis for the senior branch of the Foreign Service.
