§ 21. Commander Locker-Lampsonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what is now the medical condition of Sir Oswald Mosley.
§ Mr. H. MorrisonIt was not made a condition of release that Sir Oswald Mosley should submit himself at intervals of time to medical examination. His re- 912 detention could only be ordered, if I were satisfied that he had failed to observe any of the conditions of his release, or that the operation of the order for detention can no longer remain suspended, without detriment to the public safety or the defence of the Realm.
§ Commander Locker-LampsonMay I ask whether Sir Oswald Mosley is not suffering from flea bites and not phlebitis; and will he be invited to go down the mines? What work is he doing?
