§ Mr. DaltonYes, Sir. Some purchases of wheat and of special seeds have been made by certain Allied Governments for post-war needs. Last summer the Allied Governments agreed, at the joint request of the United States and United Kingdom Governments, to consult those Governments before placing contracts for postwar supplies. The Inter-Allied Committee is preparing estimates of post-war requirements, but is not concerned with particular purchases by individual Governments.
