HC Deb 08 July 1942 vol 381 c763
37. Mr. Kirby

asked the Prime Minister whether he has considered the communication recently addressed to him by the Shop Stewards' Committee of Woolwich Arsenal on the subject of production and other matters; and whether he can make a statement thereon?

The Deputy Prime Minister (Mr. Attlee)

I have noted the points put forward in the communication referred to by my hon. Friend. It covers so wide a field, however, that it would clearly be impossible to deal with it by means of question and answer.

Mr. Kirby

Will my right hon. Friend consider getting his colleagues in the Cabinet to make a statement in relation to postwar reconstruction?

Mr. Attlee

I will bear that in mind.
