HC Deb 25 February 1942 vol 378 cc203-4
56. Mr. Parker

asked the Minister of Supply whether he is aware that the scrap rubber collection scheme makes garages into local tyre collection dumps; that nearly all garages are now closed down and that fire insurance companies will not readily insure any premises which are used for this purpose; and what action he proposes to take to deal with these difficulties?

Sir A. Duncan
