HC Deb 09 April 1941 vol 370 c1562
48. Mr. Tinker

asked the Prime Minister when the Regulations on the Determination of Needs Act will come before the House of Commons, as the Bill became law on 26th March, and it was understood that the Regulations would come before the House within one month of the passing of the Bill into law?

Mr. Attlee

The Determination of Needs Act, 1941, provides that the Regulations shall be made within one month from the passing of the Act and shall be laid before Parliament as soon as may be thereafter. The Regulations have been made, and will be laid before Parliament before the Recess.
