asked the Prime Minister whether any change is to take place in the work done for the Government by Lord Stamp under his administration?

Mr. Attlee

I hope to announce very shortly certain changes in the arrangements for dealing with economic questions affecting the prosecution of the war, but I am glad for say that Lord Stamp will continue his work for the Government.

Mr. Mander

Do I understand that Lord Stamp is continuing his work for the Government in the same capacity, as chairman of the same committee?

Mr. Attlee

I have stated that I will make a statement very shortly in regard to the whole arrangement.

Mr. Davidson

Did the right hon. Gentleman say that Lord Stamp is continuing his work or starting his work?

Mr. Garro Jones

Will Lord Stamp continue his work as director of private companies at the same time?
