§ 36. Sir Harold Webbeasked the Minister of Transport whether he has now been able to give consideration to the possibility of reducing still further the period during which cheap-day tickets are not available for the return journey?
§ Mr. BernaysYes, Sir. Since the reintroduction of summer-time the positionhas been reviewed, and I am glad to say that it has been found possible to remove the restriction upon the hours during which cheap-day tickets to London are available for return journeys. As from Monday, 18th March, until further notice these cheap-day tickets will be available for return by any train on the day of issue.
