§ Mr. MaxtonWhile looking into the question of these sentences, will the right hon. Gentleman look into all the circumstances—such as the increase of rents by 100 per cent, on slum clearance tenants —which led up to this objectionable state of affairs?
§ Mr. ColvilleI will look into it, but I must bear in mind the riotous behaviour on this occasion, and I must take into account all the circumstances in arriving at my decision.
