asked the Minister of Transport whether he has any statement to make regarding the proposal for a speedier and earlier steamer service to Stornoway from Mallaig and Kyle of Lochalsh?

I have nothing to add to the information which I sent to the hon. Member on 20th October.

Mr. Gibson

When considering the proposal will the right hon. Gentleman consider providing an aeroplane service between these islands and Greenock?

Mr. Burgin

I think that that is quite another matter. It shall have consideration.
