§ 19. Mr. Rileyasked the Prime Minister if, and when, he will be able to inform the House of the questions under discussion between His Majesty's Government and the Government of Italy?
§ The Prime MinisterI can give no undertaking as to when, if at all, it will be possible to give the House a list of the subjects under discussion. But, as I informed the hon. Member for East Wolverhampton (Mr. Mander) on 10th March, any agreement reached will be communicated to the House, and there will be an opportunity for discussion.
§ Mr. RileyDoes not the right hon. Gentleman consider that the people of this country are entitled to know what questions are to be discussed?
§ The Prime MinisterNo, Sir, I do not think so at this stage. I have said that when any agreement is reached there will be an opportunity for discussion.
