HC Deb 04 March 1937 vol 321 c516
78. Mr. Sutcliffe

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Health, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether he will arrange for the flood lighting of public buildings on Saturday, 22nd May, in addition to Coronation week, so as to enable many thousands to see it who are visiting London on that day from Lancashire, where the Whitsuntide holiday takes place that week-end?

Commander Southby (Lord of the Treasury)

I have been asked to reply. I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given to the question asked by my hon. Friend the Member for Westbury (Mr. Grimston) on 15th February.
