HC Deb 12 July 1937 vol 326 c866
64. Mr. Thorne

asked the Home Secretary when the Government intend to deal with the report of the Home Office Committee in connection with the methods of adoption societies and agencies; and whether it is intended to bring in a Bill to deal with the matter?

Mr. Lloyd

My right hon. Friend has not yet had time to consider fully the committee's recommendations, and I regret, therefore, that I am not in a position to make any statement on the subject.
