HC Deb 25 February 1937 vol 320 cc2186-7
70. Major Dorman-Smith

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he has received the report of the Commissioner who conducted the inquiry into the proposed amendments to the Milk Marketing Scheme; and whether, in view of the urgency of the matter, he can give an assurance that the report will be considered without avoidable delay so that the amendments, if approved, may come into operation before the next contract period?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

I have not yet received the report referred to. As to the latter part of the question, I can assure my hon. and gallant Friend that the report, when received, will be considered without avoidable delay.
