asked the Home Secretary whether there is at present any Public Relations Officer attached to the Metropolitan Police; and, if not, whether he will consider the appointment of such an officer?

There is no person bearing the title "Public Relations Officer" attached to the Metropolitan Force, and the need for such an officer has not been felt.
