asked the Minister of Transport the total amount of fees collected by the lost property office of the London Passenger Transport Board since its inception, the amount expended, and how allocated?


I am informed by the board that during the period from.1st January, 1934, to 30th April, 1936, a total sum of £26,104 was received as lost property fees. Of this sum £12,171 has been allocated for the benefit of the staff of the board and the balance has been applied towards meeting the expenses of the Lost Property Office.
