asked the Minister of Transport whether, on the grounds of public safety and to ensure that passengers using public service vehicles making long journeys will know at what speed they are travelling through built-up and restricted areas, he will consider making an order under the Road Traffic Act for all such vehicles to carry efficient speedometers with their dials placed in such a position that they are visible to all passengers?
