HC Deb 20 May 1936 vol 312 c1202
Lieut.-Colonel MOORE

On a point of Order. May I ask your guidance and information on the following point, Mr. Speaker? During the course of this afternoon I put a supplementary question to the Foreign Secretary which you quite properly, no doubt, restrained me from pursuing further. I would ask you whether it is in the public interest that questions on very delicate matters of foreign policy should be addressed to the Foreign Secretary on totally uncorroborated evidence either from convicted spies or from other dubious sources?

Mr. SPEAKER

The rules as regards questions are adequate to deal with this matter.
