May I ask the Prime Minister what business is to be taken on Friday, and also what business he proposes to take to-night in the event of the Motion for the suspension of the 11 o'clock Rule being carried?

The PRIME MINISTER

On Friday, the conclusion of the Committee stage of the Tithe [Money] Resolution, and, if there is time, we hope to obtain the Second Reading of the Crown Lands Bill and the Committee stage of the necessary Money Resolution. To-night, in the event of the Motion being carried, we are suspending the 11 o'clock Rule, as it is stated on the Order Paper, for the Lords Amendments to the Sugar Industry (Reorganisation) Bill. I am informed that those will not raise any issues of magnitude. We also hope to get the Report stage of the Air Navigation [Money] Resolution, which is exempted business.

Motion made, and Question put, That the Proceedings on Consideration of the Lords Amendments to the Sugar Industry (Reorganisation) Bill be exempted, At this day's Sitting, from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House)."—[The Prime Minister.]
