§ 1. Separate particulars in respect of Derby shire are not available.
§ 2. In Scotland, rates are paid partly by the Colliery and partly by the mineral owner. Under the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1929, the colliery owner receives that part of the rates relief which would normally go to the mineral owner, resulting in a credit balance to the colliery owner.
