Lords Amendment: In page 20, line 21, leave out from the beginning to "any" in line 23, and insert: For references in the Act of 1925 and in the Act of 1930 to a public utility society there shall be substituted references to a 'housing association', that is to say".

I beg to move, "That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendment."

The purpose of the Amendment is to substitute throughout the Bill and the previous Acts "housing association" for "public utility society" "Housing association" is defined in an Amendment to the Definition Clause which will subsequently be moved.
