HC Deb 10 December 1935 vol 307 c720
26. Mr. LECKIE

asked the Secretary of State for War whether, in the interests of the men, he will reconsider the practicability of paying Army pensions weekly through the Post Office?

Mr. COOPER

Soldiers' pensions, with a few exceptions, are already paid weekly through Post Offices. In the exceptional cases the pensioner is entitled to receive payment quarterly in advance, but may change over to weekly payment if he so desires.
