Mr. THORNEasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can give the House any information relative to the advisory opinion that has been given by the Permanent Court of International Justice at the Hague to the 537 Council of the League of Nations in connection with the decree laws made by the Nazi Government of the free city of Danzig; and whether members of the League of Nations have been invited to comment on this decision?
§ Mr. EDENAccording to the Press, this advisory opinion was delivered on 4th December. I have not yet seen the text, but it is the intention that it shall be considered by the Council of the League at its session next month.
