HC Deb 16 May 1934 vol 289 c1751
24. Rear - Admiral Sir MURRAY SUETER

asked the Minister of Transport whether he will take steps to reduce the public danger and inconvenience caused by the congestion of north and south vehicular traffic passing from Berkeley Street through Piccadilly to St. James's Street; and will he in the meantime forbid vehicles to remain stationary near the pavement at the hotels between Berkeley Street and Arlington Street except for such time as is needed for taking up or putting down passengers?

Mr. STANLEY

I am asking the London and Home Counties Traffic Advisory Committee to consider whether any further measures can be taken to reduce the congestion of traffic in this locality.
