HC Deb 16 May 1934 vol 289 cc1751-2
26. Lieut.-Colonel MOORE

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in pursuance of the policy of abolishing, as far as possible, enclosures in the Royal parks, as instanced by the garden of St. John's Lodge, Regent's Park, he will restore to Regent's Park part of the gardens taken from the park near Clarence Gate and fenced off for making gardens to Bedford College?

Captain Sir GEORGE BOWYER

I have been asked to reply. As indicated in the answer given by my right hon. Friend on Monday last to a question by my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Hertford (Sir M. Sueter), no area was taken in from Regent's Park for the purposes of Bedford College.
