Captain STRICKLANDasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will inform the House as to the position of the resumption of the inquiry by the Tariff Advisory Committee into the question of the silk and artificial silk duties; what difficulties prevent that resumption; and whether he will expedite the matter?
