asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air the number of Royal Air Force officers attached to Dominion air forces throughout the Empire; the total number of officers of Dominion air forces attached to the Royal Air Force; and if it is planned to extend this interchange in numbers and range of duties?

Three officers of the Royal Air Force are at present serving with Dominion air forces on interchange with officers of those forces. A further such interchange has been arranged and will take effect in the near future. In addition, three Royal Air Force officers are serving on special duty with 'the Indian Air Force. Apart from interchanges, four officers of Dominion air forces are undergoing the course at the Royal Air Force Staff College, Andover, five Dominion officers are undergoing courses of instruction at Royal Air Force units, and three. Dominion liaison officers are attached to the Air Ministry. My hon. and gallant Friend may rest assured that advantage will be taken of every suitable opportunity of extending the system of co-operation.
