HC Deb 12 February 1934 vol 285 cc1576-7
27. Mr. RHYS DAVIES

asked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that three supervising officers in Northern Ireland have been granted an extension beyond the normal retiring age; that in two cases a further extension is under consideration; and will he state the reasons for these retentions?

Sir K. WOOD

I am aware of the circumstances. The few extensions which have been granted are considered to be in the best interests of the service.
