§ Mr. RUNCIMANAs I informed my hon. and gallant Friend on the 8th March of last year, I cannot undertake to introduce legislation on this subject unless the Bill could be proceeded with substantially as an agreed Measure.
§ Captain MACDONALDMay I ask what steps the right hon. Gentleman is taking to find what measure of agree- 181 ment there is in the House on this subject? Owing to the amount of coast erosion that is occurring, this is a very urgent matter. Will he consult with Members representing coast constituences to see whether there is agreement on the matter?
