HC Deb 11 July 1933 vol 280 cc911-2
10. Lord SCONE

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has been in communication with the Scottish poultry organisations in regard to the proposed poultry and egg marketing scheme; and, if so, with what results?

I received yesterday a letter on behalf of the Scottish organisations concerned, from which it appears that the appointment of a reorganisation commission for the preparation of egg and poultry marketing schemes for Great Britain would be welcomed by those organisations. I shall confer with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries on the subject without delay.
