§ 17. Mr. DONNER
asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether in view of the M 2 disaster, he will consider the application of a simple device, namely, a buoy and necessary wires or ropes, to all 833 British submarines to be attached to the outside of the hull, and which can be released from inside, enabling the crew of a. sunken submarine to indicate their location, thus obviating delay and prolonged search?
Sir B. EYRES MONSELL
I would refer my hon. Friend to my reply of 4th February, 1932, to the hon. and gallant Member for Dulwich (Sir F. Hall).
