HC Deb 21 May 1931 vol 252 c2187
34. Mr. WELLOCK

asked the Minister of Health the number of houses which the Halesowen Urban District Council proposed to erect under the Housing Act, 1924, and the Slum Clearance Act, 1930, in the present five-year period; whether a revised programme has since been sent in; and, if so, what are the new proposals?

Mr. GREENWOOD

The Halesowen Urban District Council proposed to erect 425 houses during the next five years—377 under the Housing (Financial Provisions) Act, 1924, and 48 under the Housing Act, 1930. In the revised proposals which have just been received, the number of houses to be erected under the Act of 1930 is increased to 64.
