HC Deb 21 May 1931 vol 252 cc2186-7
31. Sir K. WOOD

asked the Minister of Health whether he can now make a statement in relation to the housing proposals which have been the subject of conversations between the Government and the right hon. Gentleman the Member for Penryn and Falmouth (Sir Tudor Walters)?

Mr. GREENWOOD

The matter is still under consideration.

Sir K. WOOD

Might I ask the right hon. Gentleman whether it is now the settled practice, on any kind of announcements in relation to Government housing and other proposals, that they are to be made by the right hon. Gentleman the Member for Carnarvon Boroughs (Mr. Lloyd George)?

Mr. GREENWOOD

No, Sir.

Mr. R. RICHARDSON

Would it not be better and save time, if the Government would let the right hon. Gentleman the Member for West Woolwich (Sir K. Wood) know day by day what they are doing?

Sir K. WOOD

Hear, hear!
