HC Deb 12 February 1931 vol 248 cc586-7
85. Colonel HOWARD-BURY

asked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been called to the case of Mrs. E. F. Bailes, 10, Cromwell Road, Shenfield, Essex, who served as a nurse in asylums for over 11 years, and on retirement, applied under the Asylums' Officers' Superannuation Act, 1909, for a refund of her contributions; and, seeing that a refund has been refused by the Ministry, will he look into the matter?

Mr. GREENWOOD

Yes, Sir. This officer has been repaid the whole of the contributions to the repayment of which she is, as I am advised, entitled under the Statute to which the hon. and gallant Member refers. I am sending him a copy of a letter explaining the situation.
